Health and Safety Requirements
-Pets must be in good health. Grooming elderly or infirm pets is done at the owner's risk. We recommend our express service for senior pets or those with health concerns. Fees apply.
-Rabies vaccinations must be current, unless otherwise discussed.
-In case of emergency and in your absence, we may contact the nearest veterinarian and authorize treatment at your expense.
-Grooming may reveal or aggravate underlying medical conditions.
Payment & Pricing
-Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, checks and credit cards. Fees may apply.
-Rates vary based on breed, coat condition and grooming duration. Nail trimming and ear cleaning are included unless deemed unsafe or overly stressful.
Grooming Services
-We do not offer anal gland expression
-De-matting or full coat removal may alter your pet's appearance and cause stress. Additional fees may apply, especially for mats near sensitive areas like ears.
-We reserve the right to refuse service for any reason.
Photo Sharing
-With your permission, we may share pet photos on our website or social media for promotional purposes.
-All photos are property of The Paw Spa. You may opt out by notifying our staff.
Flea & Tick
-Pets found with fleas or ticks will receive a flea bath immediately. Additional charges will apply and owners will be notified.
Appointments
1. Cancellations
-Please provide at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule without a fee.
-Cancellations made within 48 hours will incur a 50% charge of the grooming fee.
-In cases of inclement weather, emergencies, or other unforeseen events, fees may be waived at the staff's discretion.
-We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments if necessary and will make every effort to find a convenient time to reschedule.
2. No-Shows
-A no-show occurs when a client misses an appointment without contacting us.
-We reserve the right to charge the full grooming fee for missed appointments.
-Please cancel or reschedule in advance to avoid fees and help us serve all clients efficiently.
3. Late Arrivals
-Please arrive 10 minutes early for check-in.
-Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may require rescheduling and a $20 late fee.
4. Pet Pick-Up
-We ask that pets be picked up within one hour of notification that grooming is complete.
-Due to limited kennel space, extended stays may incur an extended care fee.
Respectful Conduct
We're proud to foster a kind and welcoming environment - for pets and people alike. We kindly ask all clients to treat our staff with courtesy and respect. Verbal abuse, threats, or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated, and may result in refusal of service.
